Need to gather demographic information or user behavior data? With the cymCMS form builder, you can put together most any type of form and get this important information. The form module allows you to easily build powerful forms, and then simply link to these forms from anywhere on your site. Additionally, you have the choice of what form data gets saved in to your database for future use or what is simply emailed to someone - or both! Saved data can then be conveniently downloaded via CSV file for use with spreadsheet programs of other databases. FILE MANAGER. cymCMS includes a very handy and powerful file management utility. Any type of file can be uploaded to the Web server and then easily linked in your site. Now you can upload PDF files, Word Docs, spreadsheets - any type of file - and allow custom access to these files. Not only does the file manager allow for file uploading, but it also allows you to easily create new folders to organize your uploaded content. ARTICLES. The Articles module is a very flexible module that allows additional content to be created and linked to other modules. Articles have inherit structure: abstract, story, author, headline, sub-headline. SECTIONS. This module allows creation and management of the web site menu. You may also assign different users, groups or registered users to manage or view specific sections. SPOTS. The Spots module is defined as places to put dynamic information that take up specific locations and headers in the template. Locations of Spots depend on the template used. They are also used to create mailing list contents and to store archived mailing list. Think of Spots as "areas" in your site where you can place "independent" content - JavaScript, HTML, plain text, multimedia, or images. Some examples of how spots may be used include displaying: stock quotes, movie clips, weather forecasts, etc.
