Steve Collins - Partner, Sales and Marketing Officer
Steve has extensive, first-hand knowledge of the relevant IT, marketing and management needs of industrial manufacturers, rep firms and distributors. In the early 1980s, Steve was Regional Sales Manager for a leading pressure instrument manufacturer. In the mid-1980's he set up his own technical sales rep organization and represented a leading industrial heating and control manufacturer. In 1991 he founded CvL Technical Sales, Inc., an industrial distribution company headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1999 he founded and headed the U.S. operations of an Asian software development firm. Steve left this firm to start CMS4i in 2000 to bring his experience with Internet marketing and reasonably priced IT products to industrial firms looking for a competitive edge.
Gregory Ferguson - Partner, Chief Engineer, Technology Officer
Greg spent 6 years at Hewlett-Packard Company as a software engineer and project team leader and 13 years at SGI (Silicon Graphics, Inc) as a lead and Principal Engineer where he received 3 patents during his tenure. He then founded Ferguson Technology Group, LLC and consulted for a variety of Fortune 500 Companies and Silicon Valley start-ups. His client list includes: TiVo, General Electric, Avery, JanSport, VeriSign, and a number of other firms. Engineering skills include Java server and client user interface development; MySQL, Oracle and other database technologies; Cold Fusion, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, Linux, Apache, XML/SGML/HTML, CSS, and others.
